Call Conferencing Systems

The standard speakerphone mode of operation for a iDCS or DS keyset is "half duplex". This means that yoiu cannot transmit and recieve speech at the same time. Adding a FKDBFor DS-KDBF to your keyset will convert the speakerphone into full duplex mode enhancing its operation. In addition the FKDBF/DS-KDBF may have up to three external microphones attached to it for conference room type applications. These microphones require an "EXTMIC" key programmed on the keyset to acitivate or deactivate them.

In some applications the size of the room or noise canceling necessity may merrit the use and installation of a Polycom type conference phone.
